FAQs

Questions about moving to Shopify.

Clear scope and practical expectations before the move.

Which platforms can you migrate from?

We review your existing platform and its available exports or access first. Our migration paths include Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Amazon, Shift4Shop and Magento B2B; the scope depends on the data and functionality available.

What data can be included?

Products, collections, customers, order history and content can be assessed for the agreed scope. Field coverage, relationships and exclusions depend on your source platform and the transfer method, and are confirmed before work begins.

Will customer accounts and passwords move?

We review customer records and sign-in requirements separately. Do not assume that existing passwords will transfer. Any account activation, password reset or customer communication required for the chosen approach is agreed with you.

How do you handle URLs and SEO?

We map agreed important URLs to relevant Shopify destinations, prepare supported redirects where paths change and review key page metadata. Search performance depends on several factors; we do not promise unchanged rankings or traffic.

Will our current store stay available during the work?

Where practical, theme development and test transfers happen alongside your current store. We agree final data updates, domain changes and cutover responsibilities separately. Timing and any expected interruption depend on your current setup.

How are migration cost and timing decided?

We review the source platform, record volumes, storefront design, integrations and validation needs, then agree the scope, quote and schedule. Final timing also depends on access, content, feedback and any source-platform limitations.
